Refrigerant R-1234yf, marketed as Honeywell Solstice™ yf, is a next-generation hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant designed to deliver outstanding environmental performance without compromising system efficiency.

HFO refrigerants are composed of hydrogen, fluorine, and carbon atoms and feature a unique molecular structure that includes a carbon-carbon double bond.
